What We Do
Our work is informed by research and education surrounding issues that concern us as we age.
On Success
Success Matters is part of Resident Services at Beatitudes Campus. We work within a holistic framework to help residents experience optimal health, wellness, and quality of life in a variety of areas. We recognize that the concept of "success" is personal and not an external standard, but an internal frame of mind.
What We Offer
Concerns about falling, low vision, mobility, cognition, and pain management are all issues that can affect us more as we age. Interventions at the right time can keep older people active and engaged. Acknowledging personal challenges allows us to address them in the way most conducive to overall well-being.
Support Groups
Our groups offer peer support, structure, and proven resources to meet your needs!
What We Offer
Do you need to update your living will or health care preferences? We can work to help clarify the distinctions among health care documents, and have your choices made clear. Have questions about Medicare coverage, your credit report, social security account, or long-term care policy? We can help. Anything else? Please ask us!
SimulAge Staff Training
Our employee training program was featured in the Arizona LeadingAge Magazine. Our program encourages employees to recognize ways we can serve residents through ordinary and deliberate actions and attitudes.
Education
We partner with other Campus employees, residents, and professionals to present informative seminars on issues important to our community. These include understanding the dynamics of individual v. community life, family relationships, health and wellness topics such as integrative medicine, diabetes education, Blue Zone living, end of life planning, and more.
Intern Life
Success Matters hosts interns in Occupational Therapy programs from both A.T. Still University and Northern Arizona University. These young professionals contribute much to Beatitudes Campus, working directly with residents and staff to develop their own knowledge base and therapeutic approaches.
